Share the Route! How to Get to MBK Center by BTS and MRT. Which Station to Get Off At?
Arriving at Siam, one of the destinations that surely pops into your head is MBK Center. A gigantic shopping mall located in the heart of Bangkok, MBK Center is packed with a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and activities that attract countless visitors to come and explore, taste, and shop.
How to Get to MBK Center by BTS Skytrain
Taking the BTS Skytrain is the most convenient way to reach MBK Center. Get off at National Stadium Station and take Exit 3 or 4. From there, you can walk along the Skywalk for about 50 meters to reach the mall. You can access MBK via the following BTS lines
Silom Line
Runs from Bang Wa to National Stadium Station. No transfers are needed.
For example, if you start from Bang Wa (the final station on the Silom Line), you’ll pass through 14 stations to reach National Stadium Station. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes.
Sukhumvit Line
Runs from Kheha to Khu Khot. If you start from either end, you will need to transfer at Siam Station to the Silom Line and head to National Stadium Station. The total travel time from either terminal is about 46 minutes.
Getting to MBK Center by MRT Subway
You can also take the MRT Subway to MBK Center, but you’ll need to transfer to the BTS Skytrain at some point:
From MRT Bang Wa
If you’re coming from Bang Khae or Phetkasem, take the MRT to Bang Wa Station, then transfer to the BTS (also Bang Wa Station). You can ride directly to National Stadium Station, which takes about 25 minutes.
From MRT Silom
Get off at MRT Silom Station, then transfer to the BTS Sala Daeng Station, which is nearby. Ride directly to National Stadium Station — the journey takes about 6 minutes.
From MRT Sukhumvit
If you’re coming from Khlong Toei or Phetchaburi, get off at Asok Station and transfer to BTS Asok Station. Ride to Siam Station, then transfer to the Silom Line to get to National Stadium Station. This takes about 8 minutes from Asok.
From MRT Phahon Yothin
If you’re coming from areas like Ladprao or Chatuchak, take the MRT to Phahon Yothin Station, then transfer to BTS Ha Yaek Lat Phrao. Head to Siam Station, transfer, and continue to National Stadium Station. This trip takes about 20 minutes.
Alternatively, if you want a simpler route without memorizing transfers, you can get off at MRT Sam Yan Station and take a motorbike taxi or regular taxi to MBK Center.
